Home of the Craven Timber Railway
This is the home page of the Craven Timber Railway and hosts content relevant to the Craven Timber Railway.
Note: For users who don't have Microsoft Train Simulator (MSTS) installed, you can use a "stand-alone" instance of Open Rails, which is free to download to run this route. OR is beta software (still under development), so some features may not work compared to MSTS, but keep an eye on the OR site for new releases.
This route has been designed to operate in one of the following modes of operation:
- MSTS installation - for users with MSTS - click on install files and follow instructions, run route in MSTS
- Combined MSTS/OR installation - for users with a combined OR and MSTS setup - click on install files and follow instructions to install route in your combined MSTS and OR system, run route in MSTS or OR as desired
- Open Rails installation - for users who only have OR - you will need to load additional freely available files to establish a OR environment. See this page for installation instructions.
